Industrial Pest Control Sydney
Integrated pest management for Sydney factories, manufacturing plants, workshops and industrial estates — planned around plant, permits, shutdowns and site WHS systems.
Industrial sites create harbourage faster than they remove it
Manufacturing environments generate exactly the conditions pests need and rarely have time to remove them. Warm motor housings and control cabinets give cockroaches year-round breeding sites. Cable trays, conduit runs and pipe penetrations give rodents protected highways through the whole plant. Waste streams, wash bays and floor drains give flies continuous breeding material. Raw material stockpiles and unused plant give rodents undisturbed harbourage for months.
Rodent damage in industrial settings is also a direct production risk rather than a hygiene one. Gnawed control wiring, damaged sensors, contaminated switchboards and shorted panels cause unplanned downtime that costs far more than the pest program. On sites with electrical or fire-system exposure, rodent activity in cable trays is a genuine asset-protection issue.
Access is the other constraint. Live plant, hot work areas, confined spaces, permits, lockout-tagout and height restrictions all shape when and how a technician can work. Programs that ignore that get postponed indefinitely and quietly fail.
Our industrial IPM program
Plant and services survey
A first-visit survey of cable trays, penetrations, risers, drains and voids to map harbourage and movement routes.
Perimeter interception
Numbered external stations and grounds treatment to stop rodent pressure at the fence line and building line.
Cabinet and cavity treatment
Targeted gel and dust treatment of switchboards, motor housings and warm cavities where cockroaches breed.
Drain and waste program
Drain, wash bay, waste compactor and bin-yard treatment to break fly breeding cycles.
Proofing works list
A prioritised sealing and exclusion defect list costed for your maintenance schedule.
Shutdown deep service
Full internal treatment during planned shutdowns when plant is de-energised and accessible.
Working inside your site WHS system
- Site-specific SWMS submitted before first attendance
- Permit-to-work, hot work and confined space compliance
- Lockout-tagout awareness and plant isolation coordination
- SDS and APVMA registration for every product on site
- Technician licensing, inductions and site-specific PPE
- Environmental controls for chemical handling near drains and waterways
Across Sydney's manufacturing corridors
Our industrial work sits in the western and south-western estates — Wetherill Park, Smithfield, Eastern Creek, Erskine Park, Huntingwood, Girraween, Silverwater, Prestons and Smeaton Grange — plus the inner-south industrial pockets around Alexandria and Botany. These estates mix food manufacturing, plastics, metal fabrication, chemical storage and logistics side by side, so pressure from a neighbouring site is a constant factor.
That is why our industrial programs always start with a survey rather than a treatment. Until the harbourage and entry routes are mapped, chemical application is just maintenance of the problem.
- Factories, fabrication and production plants
- Manufacturing with food, plastics and packaging exposure
- Industrial estates and multi-tenant complexes
- Storage facilities, yards and depots
Questions we get asked
Can you work around live plant and production?
Yes. Work is planned against your permit system — perimeter and low-risk areas during operation, and switchboard, cabinet and height work during shutdowns or isolations coordinated with your maintenance team.
How do you stop rodents damaging control wiring?
We intercept at the perimeter, seal the penetrations and cable-tray entry points that give access, and place monitoring inside tray runs and risers so activity is detected before damage occurs.
Do you provide SWMS and take part in inductions?
Yes. A site-specific SWMS is submitted before the first visit and every technician completes your site induction and follows your PPE and permit requirements.
What is IPM and why does it matter on an industrial site?
Integrated pest management prioritises inspection, exclusion, sanitation and monitoring, and uses chemical treatment only where it is targeted and justified. On industrial sites that reduces chemical load near product and plant while addressing the actual cause of the activity.
Can you service multi-tenant industrial estates?
Yes. We service both individual tenancies and whole-estate programs on behalf of owners and facility managers, with consolidated reporting across the estate.
We use your property size and location to calculate real-time local chemical rates — takes under 60 seconds.
